Church of the Encarnación, Bilbao, Spain — Gau Zuria
Projected across the nave and choir vaults, Bóvedas Celestes combines coloured networks with imaginary skies and images of stellar explosions. The shifting forms follow the architecture, inviting visitors to look upwards and move through an ever-changing luminous environment.
Jacopo Baboni Schilingi created a generative musical environment from recorded fragments of liturgical chants. Their transformation through morphogenetic algorithms creates variations that deepen the contemplative experience of the installation.
