Contemporary musician Jacopo Baboni Schilingi will hold his first photographic exhibition in Japan, Bodyscore—the soul signature, at CHANEL Nexus Hall from 15 January to 16 February 2020. Admission is free.
Born in Italy in 1971 and now living in Paris, he composes orchestral and ensemble music as well as music for installations and films, and participates in international festivals worldwide. He also explores art beyond music and, since 2007, has presented Bodyscore, works in which he writes scores directly on human skin.
The exhibition will show thirty photographs of models in various poses from the Bodyscore series. Mechanisms are also planned that play music when viewers stand before the works.
